02Is an online booking binding?
Yes. An appointment booked through arzt-direkt is binding and chargeable. If you would like to clarify questions first, please call us — that is without obligation.
03What does a consultation cost?
The consultation is a self-pay service; we will tell you the exact fee when you book. All services at the practice are self-pay or private insurance services.
04When are you open?
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00–12:30 and 13:30–18:00, Tuesday 9:00–12:30 and 13:30–16:00, Friday 9:00–12:00. The practice is closed at weekends.
05How do I get to the practice?
Tram M4 to “Am Friedrichshain” (about 150 metres) or tram M2 to “Prenzlauer Allee/Metzer Strasse” (about 350 metres). Alexanderplatz is a little over one kilometre away.

After an operation you will be given a dedicated emergency number on which we are available 24 hours a day.
Planning from outside Berlin
Information for international patients
Consultations are available in English. When contacting us, please state which treatment you are considering, where you live and whether you have a preferred travel period. Bring an up-to-date medication list, relevant medical reports and details of previous procedures to your consultation.
Travel, the date of surgery and the required follow-up are planned individually after a medical examination. Please do not book non-refundable travel before the surgeon has confirmed the treatment plan. Depending on the procedure, an in-person consultation and follow-up appointments in Berlin may be necessary.
